Our family business was founded over 50 years ago, and under second-generation leadership we have renewed our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

We actively work to minimise waste by reducing packaging and cardboard for our customers, and by installing energy-efficient motion-sensor lighting across our UK and China facilities.

We have invested in energy-efficient heating systems, solar panels, improved roof insulation, electric forklift trucks, and hybrid vehicles for our team, with the ambition to transition to fully electric vehicles in the future.

Each year, we explore new developments in science and engineering that allow us to grow responsibly while minimising our impact on the planet.

As the largest independent supplier in our market, we maintain full control over production through ownership of our manufacturing facility in China. Our extensive product range offers decorative and functional solutions for windows. We supply a wide selection of window blinds, including Venetian, roller, and Roman styles, designed to suit a wide variety of interiors and applications.

In addition, we offer curtain poles across multiple diameters, complemented by a wide choice of finial designs to match both contemporary and traditional settings. Our range is further enhanced by decorative robust curtain tracks, functional curtain track systems, including specialist solutions for network and bay windows.

From humble beginnings to international trading

Over 50 years ago, Ivor Seddon set out with a clear vision: to innovate and advance the world of curtain and blind hardware. What began as a passion-driven market stall operation soon evolved into a manufacturing business, design house, and international trading company.

The first stage of this journey saw the development of a UK-based manufacturing and distribution centre, laying strong foundations for quality and reliability. The next stage required a bold and ambitious step onto the global stage, leading to the establishment of our own manufacturing facility in China and enabling us to serve customers worldwide.

Innovation has always been central to our business—not only in product design, but also in the way we operate. We continually invest in new technologies, reduce waste through smarter packaging design, and regularly review our carbon footprint to minimise environmental impact.

Today, Speedy Products remains firmly rooted in Salford, UK, where our headquarters, sales, administration, warehousing, and product development teams continue to operate. Since 2008, we have also been proud owners of Paloma, our dedicated window decoration manufacturing facility in China. This integrated global presence places us in a strong position to deliver the quality, value, and service that modern retailers and consumers expect.
