Our family business was established over forty years ago and with this second generation has come a new drive towards lowering our environmental impact.
We have tried to reduce waste packaging and cardboard for customers as well as utilizing energy efficient motion sensor lighting in both our UK and China facilities.
We have invested in energy efficient heating systems, solar panels and roof insulation, electric fork lift vehicles and hybrid motor vehicles for our personnel, which we hope to be fully electric in the future.
Every year we look towards new developments in science and engineering to help us achieve growth with as little as possible impact on the Earth, our only true home.
All this helps us to maintain our low use of energy throughout our business.

But where did we begin...........


From humble beginnings to international trading
Over forty years ago Ivor Seddon had a vision and a desire to innovate and develop the world of curtain and blind hardware.  This passion drove a market stall trader to become manufacturer, a designer and an international trader.
The initial part of his vision inspired him to grow and develop a UK based manufacturing and distribution centre.  The second part required a more adventurous leap into the world which lead him to open a Chinese manufacturing plant allowing him to sell globally. 
Our innovation has not just been focused solely on products but also on technology and the reduction of waste packaging, packaging design and a constant review of our carbon footprint. 
Every year we strive to move forward and achieve more.

We’re constantly evolving
Standing strong today the headquarters, sales, administration, warehousing and product development teams are still based in Salford, UK. Since 2008, Speedy Products Ltd have been the proud owners of a window decoration facility in China called Paloma. No one is better placed to deliver the products, value and service today’s retailers and consumers demand.
